Elizabeth Davis

January 25, 1921 — June 28, 2015

Elizabeth Davis was born on January 25, 1921 to Edward Wick and Emile Wuerker in Schulenburg, Texas. The Wick family moved to Carnegie in September 1921. Elizabeth married Urbin Davis on September 13, 1943 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Anadarko ,OK. Prior to settling in Carnegie in 1963, they lived in Mountain Park and Boone, Oklahoma. Elizabeth was a housewife and mother raising their four children. She belonged to the Rich Springs Home Demonstration Club, the Boone Home Demonstration Club and the Boone PTA. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Carnegie VFW and the St. Richards Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Carnegie Nutrition Center which she attended with her friends and enjoyed sharing their daily lunches.


Survivors include her four children, eight grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren four great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Urbin, parents, Edward and Emilie Wick, three brothers, Richard, Alfred and Edward, five sisters, her twin Mary, Emilee Jurek, Mathilda Shelton, Rosia Jurek and Erna Jurek, grandson Shawn Kinder, and great grand sons Christopher Ahtone and Alec Gilmore.

Rosary: 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 30, 2015
Ray & Martha's Chapel in Carnegie, Oklahoma
Mass of Christian Burial: 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 1, 2015
St. Richard's Catholic Church in Carnegie, Oklahoma
Officiating: Father Joseph Nettem
Burial will follow in the Carnegie Cemetery.
Services will be under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Carnegie Oklahoma.
