Elda Wood

August 11, 1916 — February 17, 2017

Elda " Grandma Mac" Wood, 100, passed away February 17th, 2017 in Hobart, Oklahoma. Elda was born August 11th, 1916 to Arthur and Emma (Bumbarger) Haworth in Decatur, Iowa. She grew up and attended school in Iowa. Elda met and married Roger McElvain they had three children together, after separating she met and married George Wood. Elda worked as a Secretary Manager in a Hospital for most of her working life.

Survivors include:
1 son: Kenneth Roger McElvain and wife Betty of Houston, TX
1 daughter: Beverly Morgan and husband Dean of Hobart, OK
9 grandchildren
23 great grandchildren
numerous great-great grandchildren

Preceded in death by:
1 son: James Richard McElvain, parents, 2 sisters and 2 brothers
