Eileen A Marshall

October 3, 1934 — July 25, 2016

Eileen Audrey Marshall was born October 3, 1934 in Guymon Oklahoma to William Jennings Bryan and Lurline Audrey Shahan Bryan and passed away July 25, 2016 in Carnegie, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years.

Eileen attended school in Guymon, Oklahoma where she graduated High School. She attended Bethany Nazarene College and received her B.S. in elementary education. It was in Bethany where she met her future husband, Harold Marshall. They were married June 6, 1959 in Guymon, Oklahoma.

She began her teaching career at Putnam City Public Schools in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The family moved to Carnegie in 1963 and she was involved in the family business, Harold's Auto Supply. In 1970
she started teaching Kindergarten for Carnegie Public Schools until her retirement in 1986.

Eileen was an active member of the Church of Christ, she was a band booster officer, she was a member of KAPPA IOTA and was a member and officer. Eileen enjoyed quilting, reading, was an avid crossword puzzle worker, crafting, attending and supporting her children and grandchildren in all of their activities.

Eileen was preceded in death by her husband Harold, her parents, brother William J. Bryan Jr., and granddaughter Danielle Hope Jared.

She is survived by two sons: Greg Marshall and his wife Carrie of Carnegie, Douglas Marshall of Chickasha, two daughters Teresa Jared and her husband Jahn of Queen Creek, Arizona, Denise Martin and her husband George of Fairview, Oklahoma.

She is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.

Family visitation will be Thursday, July 28, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Ray & Martha's Chapel in Carnegie, Oklahoma.
