Edwin Leon Morgan

Edwin Leon Morgan, of Roosevelt, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, March 24th, 2010 at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 66 years and 7 days. He was born March 17, 1944 in Roosevelt, OK. to Leon and Mareta (Saunders) Morgan. He graduated in 1962 from Roosevelt High School. Edwin married Kaye Burt on October 3, 1975, in Vernon, TX and she preceded him in death on October 4, 2002. He was in the National Guard several years and was a member of the First Baptist Church. Edwin was an avid professional bull riding fan, lifelong carpenter, wood worker, farmer, a lover of music and dancing and wonderful father and grandfather.


Survivors include one son, Jason Morgan and wife Melissa, Guthrie, OK
one daughter: Kammie Skelley and husband Bill, Rocky, OK
4 Grandchildren: Morgan Skelley Roberts and husband Heath. Rocky, OK
Steiger Skelley, Rocky, OK
Liam Morgan , Guthrie, OK
Olivia Morgan, Guthrie, OK

1 brother: Keith Morgan and wife Rita, Yukon, OK
1 sister: Marilyn Lester and husband Don, Broken Bow, OK
And a host of nieces and nephews


He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Kaye
