LaVern Fite, 80, of Carnegie, OK passed away Sunday, May 22nd, 2011 at Corn Heritage Village in Corn, OK. She was born to Elmer and Bertha (Craft) Smith, June 16th, 1930 at Swan Lake, OK.
She met and married Aubrey Fite, and he preceded her in death in 2001. LaVern lived in Carnegie, OK most of her life. She loved to crochet and to spend time with her grandchildren. LaVern was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Carnegie, OK.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bill Fite, granddaughter, Debra Fergason, grandson, Issac Fite, step mother, Ada Mae Smith, bothers, Leo Smith and Henry Gordon, sisters, Lena Fay Ferguson and Pearl McBride.
Services: 10:30am Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at the Church of the Nazarene, Carnegie, OK
Burial will follow at the Carnegie Cemetery, Carnegie, OK
