Edna Lorene Baggett

Edna Baggett, 85, of Roosevelt, OK, passed away at her home on Monday, November 15th, 2010. She was born February 18th, 1925 in Cooperton, OK to Arthur and Mollie (Millard) Sears. She graduated from Cooperton High School in 1944 and from OSU in 1948. She taught school at Crooked Oak and at a Midwest City Elementary School. Edna married Roy E. Baggett on February 7, 1953 in Norman, OK and he preceded her in death on October 18, 2009.In the 1980's,, they moved to the family farm near Roosevelt. She was a Methodist.

Survivors include one nephew and wife, John Ray and Jan Sears, Cordell, OK
one niece, Mollie Jane Rogers, Monroe, LA
one sister-in-law, Johnnie Sears, Roosevelt, Oklahoma

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home of Hobart, OK.
