Eddie Lee Block, 80, Hobart, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2014, at his home in Hobart, Oklahoma. He was born August 31, 1933, in Gotebo, OK, to Jake and Ana (Hopson) Block. Eddie lived most of his life in Kiowa County. Eddie and Winona owed and operated an antique shop in Canton, Texas, for seven years. They had a booth in a Weatherford antique mall for over 20 years, Stanley's Antique Mall for five years and many other malls around the country. Eddie traveled extensively purchasing antiques for their antique shops, booths and malls. Eddie married Winona Williams on March 15, 1952, in Vernon, Texas. He attended Washington Baptist Church in Hobart.
He is survived by his son, Teddy Block and wife Wendy, Hobart, OK
one daughter, Greta Mills and husband Jim, Frisco, TX
two grandchildren: Candy and Shelly
two great-grandchildren: Rory and Alexis
one brother, Archie Block and wife Sharon, Texas
two sisters-in-law, Elaine Block, Fort. Worth, TX

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Winona (2-16-2011), one grandson Jason, two brothers, Arvel Block, Thurman Block, one sister Judy Summers
