Earl Gene Dukes

Earl Gene Dukes, 66, a former Hobart, OK resident passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2013 in Lexington, OK. He was born in Redding, California on March 15, 1947, to Earl and Ruth (Copley) Dukes. Gene grew up in Alturas and Redding, CA for many years before moving to Hobart, OK eleven years ago. He married Brenda Pittman on November 27, 1968 in Reno, NV and she preceded him in death June 28, 2003. Gene married Velma Lee Edwards on November 2, 2003 in Morgantown, IN. He was a member of the General Assembly and Church of the First Born.



He is survived by his wife Velma Lee, Hobart, OK

Teena Skinner and husband Brian, Coldwater, MS
Angela Allison and husband Mark, Elkhart, TX
four step-sons: Stephens Edwards and wife Shalisha, Lexington, OK

Jeremy Edwards, Hobart, OK
Daniel Edwards and wife Shelly, Lexington, OK
one step-daughter: Deborah Arganbright and husband Wade, Gotebo, OK
17 grandchildren
4 great-grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Brenda (2003), son Rodney, and grandson Robert.

Family will meet friends at the Funeral Home from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday, December 29, 2013
