DYLAN WADE SHOOK, 19, was born August 3, 1993, to Wade and Malisa Ann (Hendricks) Shook in Anadarko. He passed from this life September 10, 2012 in Weatherford.
Dylan was raised in the Gracemont and Sterling communities and graduated with the Apache High School Class of 2012. He worked for Munoz Mexican Restaurants in Elgin and Medicine Park. Later, Dylan moved to Mustang and worked for Pratt Industries. In the past few weeks, he had moved to Weatherford and was seeking employment there.
Dylan enjoyed all kinds of sports, showing livestock, riding dirt bikes, camping at the lake and “hangin out†with his friends. He loved spending time with his family and in school, Dylan won the FFA Quizbowl State Championship.
Preceding him in death were his grandfathers, Gary Hendricks and Carrol Ray Shook; great grandparents, T.J. and Mildred Shook and Lewie and Louise Hendricks.
Survivors include his mother, Malisa Ann Hendricks of Anadarko; father, Wade Shook and his wife, Becky of Luther; grandmothers, Janet Hendricks of Anadarko and Myrna Shook of Gracemont; sisters, Autumn Trout of Sterling and Nicole Meek of Edmond; uncles, Tony Shook and his wife, Stacey and Gary Hendricks and his wife, Amy, both of Mustang; aunt, Amanda Whitlow of Anadarko; cousins, Karol Ann Shook of Mustang, Christopher Hendricks, Cody Hendricks, Kyler Hendricks all of Anadarko, Reece Sylvester, Haley Sylvester, both of Mustang, Alex Whitlow and Brady Whitlow, both of Verden, Chazten Jenkins of Oklahoma City, many other relatives and a great number of friends.
The funeral will be at 2 P.M., Friday, September 14, 2012, at the Square Top Baptist Church. The Burial will follow in the Gracemont Cemetery under the direction of the Steverson Funeral Home.
