Doyle Ray Vinson, 64, life long Hobart resident passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born on January 15, 1950, to Elmer and Lora (Ritter) Vinson in Hobart, Oklahoma. Doyle was in the U.S. Army serving in the Vietnam War. He was a technician repairing televisions. Doyle was a member of the American Legion. He had four dogs that were his special companions: Squirt, Tammy, Lupe, Shorty.

He is survived by two nieces: Vonda Quick, Altus, OK
Linda Lal, Alamogordo, NM
two nephews: Willie Mosier, Clinton ,OK
Larry Edwards, Oklahoma City, OK
God Son; Brian Taylor, Hobart, OK
life long friend: Rick Stutzman, Frederick, OK
many other great nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Buddy Edwards and sister Eva Stinnett.

Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 3, 2014
Ray & Martha's Chapel, Hobart, OK

Burial will follow at Hobart Rose Cemetery, Hobart, OK, under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Hobart.
