Doyle Thomas Sutton, 81, long-time Rocky, OK, resident passed away at his home after a short illness.
He was born September 16, 1932 in Fay, OK to Willis and Edna (Grizzle) Sutton. Doyle was the grounds caretaker at the golf course in Burns Flat for many years and enjoyed that job most of all. He married Irene Holman on August 9, 1953 in Rocky, OK and she preceded him in death on November 5, 2005.
He served with the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Doyle was a member of the Church of the First Born in Rocky, OK.
Survivors include two sons: Marty Doyle Sutton, LaPort, IN

three daughters:
Lori Huntzinger and husband Larry, Rocky, OK
Bonnie Giblet and husband Jeff, Rocky, OK
Pollyanna Byrd and husband Nick, Rocky, OK
25 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren
one son-in-law, Weldon Dobbs, Rocky, OK
one sister, Beulah Dromgoole, Elk City, OK

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Irene, daughter Claudia Carol Dobbs (2-19-2013), granddaughter Kama Holman, grandson Joel Huntzinger (1989), great-grandson, Hunter Dobbs, sister, Letha Burghardt and brother Keith Sutton.
