Douglas Paul Henson passed away on July 3, 2024, in Hobart, OK. He was born on May 18, 1942, to Lloyd & Eva (Godfrey) Henson, in Hobart, OK. Douglas grew up and attended school in Hobart, graduating in 1960. He enlisted in the United States Navy and served his country from 1962 to 1970. Douglas met & married the love of his life Nancy Hunn McIntyre on September 2, 1971. To this union were born two children, Kim & Chris. He worked for many years for Gray Electric in Hobart. Douglas was very active in the Hobart community. In 1991, he received an award for "Years of Service" from Hobart Athletics. Douglas raised money and put up the lights at the Hobart Baseball field. In 1992, he received an award for "Accomplishments for the community" from the Chamber of Commerce. Douglas was a man with a big heart and helping hand. There was nothing more he enjoyed more than spending time with his family. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. He loved them dearly. Douglas' love for his Lord & Savior was unwavering. He will be dearly missed by all who knew & loved him.

Preceded in death by his Wife: Nancy Henson, Parents: Lloyd & Eva Henson, and stepchildren: Debra Brisson & Laura South.
