Douglas Lee Evers

Douglas Lee Evers, 64, of Anadarko, was born July 9, 1948, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Wilburn F. and the late Hazel Bernice (Mote) Evers. He passed away Friday, November 8, 2012 in Anadarko.
Mr. Evers was raised in Texas and attended school there. He worked for Texas Instruments for 18 years before relocating to Oklahoma in 1999. He went to work for the Developmental Disabilities Services Division, retiring in March 2012. Doug and the Late Debra Shatto were together 9 years until her passing in 2009.
Those left to cherish his memory include; his father Wilburn F. Evers of Lubbock, Texas, brother Tommie Evers of Texas, sister Phyllis Jolly of Midland, Texas, son Chris Evers and daughter Sunnell Evers and two granddaughters all of Texas. He also left behind a loving Oklahoma family that includes; Ricky and Ida Dawson, JR. and Elizabeth Keahbone, Joshua Keahbone, Joseph Keahbone, Jeremiah Keahbone, Quanah Keahbone, Justin Keahbone, Jimmy Day, Jolleen Keahbone, Maresha Keahbone and Edwina Keahbone.
