Dorthea Ann Peck

Dorthea Ann Rogers Peck, 84, died Thursday, April 6th, 2017, at Mercy Hospital. She was born April 7, 1932 to Headlee and Amelia (Hansen) Rogers. Dorthea was a life long resident of Hobart, graduating from Hobart High School in 1950. She married Paul Peck on August 20, 1950. Dorthea was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Chapter BV, P.E.O. She served on the board of Hobart Searchlight Center for many years. Her career was her family and her home. Dorthea excelled as a cook, housekeeper, seamstress, and quilter. She was an avid reader and spent countless hours at the Hobart Public Library.

She was preceded in death by her husband Paul, and her sister Mary Jane McMillin.

one step-granddaughter: Jennifer Brown and husband Cooper of OKC, OK
two brother-in-laws; Charles Peck and wife Patsy, Norman, OK
Thomas McMillin, Whitney, TX
two step-great grandchildren; one niece, and eight nephews.
