Dortha Jane Vanderpol, 95, of Snyder, Oklahoma, Passed away on January 12, 2017. Dortha was born on December 15, 1921 to Clyde and Luannie (Kelly) Lomenick in Gotebo, Oklahoma. Dortha grew up and attended school in Cooperton, Oklahoma. she met and married the love of her life Gerald Vanderpol on October 8, 1938 at the Court House in Hobart, Oklahoma. Dortha was a cook in the school system for many years, she also helped Gerald with the farming. Dortha loved quilting and most of all she loved making donuts especially for the kids in the neighborhood.

Troy Adams and wife Anna of Frederick, OK
Karen Broadie of Davidson, OK
Michael Huggins and wife Joyce of Austin, TX
John Huggins of Yukon, OK
Jason McQueen and wife Jennifer of Hollis, OK
Korie Rubio and husband Richard of Frederick, OK

Funeral Services for Dortha are at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at the First Baptist Church in Roosevelt, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at the Hobart Rose Cemetery in Hobart, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home in Hobart, Oklahoma.
