Dorothy Wilson

Dorothy Wilson, 74, Hobart, OK, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2015, in Hobart, Oklahoma. She was born in Hollis, Oklahoma to Tracy and Lena (Thompson) Cox on September 30, 1940. Dorothy graduated Arnette High School in 1958. She married Orvile Wilson on September 20, 1958, in Hobart, Oklahoma. Dorothy worked at Fran's Cafe and Big A Burger for many years before going to work at CR Industry in Hobart, OK. After retirement, Dorothy would iron in her spare time, also going to yard sales. She enjoyed watching the Thunder Basketball Team play. Dorothy enjoyed her time with all her family. She taught her grand-daughters how to play Sudoku.


She is survived by one daughter: Tonya Coats and husband James, Altus, OK
one son: Jerry Wilson, Hobart, OK
four grand-daughters: Michelle Pitt and husband John, Bethany, OK
Katherine Coats, Edmond, OK
Tracie Coats, Altus, OK
Jenny Wilson, Woodward, OK
four great-grandchildren: Wyatt & Morgan Pitt, Lacee and Payton Wilson
one sister: Lula Ross, Burns Flat, OK
one step-mother: Mildred Cox
many nieces and nephews, friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Orville, one brother Jay Wilson, and one son in law Bill Pritchard.
