Dorothy Lee Tilley

Dorothy Lee Tilley,96, of Carnegie, Oklahoma, passed away December 30th, 2015. She was born December 9, 1919 to Roy and Aithel (Jackson) Courtney. She lived in Carnegie for a majority of her life. She married Jack Tilley on November 7, 1950. She was a wonderful gardner and loved flowers and plants. She enjoyed being outside in her yard.

She is survived by her daughter, Reta Lister, Chickasha, OK
son, Lynn Tilley, Blanchard, OK
four grandsons; Michael Pond, Siloam Springs, AR
Bruce Pond, Binger, OK
Shane Tilley and wife Amanda, Blanchard, OK
Justin Lister and wife Jasmine, Chickasha, OK
one granddaughter, April Bostik and husband Donnie, Mountain View, OK,
one sister, Parazade Millikan, Cleburn, Texas
and fifteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Tilley, daughter Joyce Pond, grandson Rodney Pond, two brothers; Calvin Courtney and Lon Courtney, and her sister Pearla Mae Powers.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2016, at the First Baptist Church in Carnegie, Oklahoma. Internment will follow at Carnegie Cemetery.
Services will be under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home in Carnegie, Oklahoma.
