Dorothy Ruth Tahsuda (February 6, 1931 - December 30, 2023)
Dorothy Ruth Tahsuda, 92, a loving and nurturing soul, died peacefully in her home surrounded by family on December 30, 2023.
She was born in Martha, Oklahoma in 1931. Dorothy attended school in Altus and Martha, Oklahoma, and graduated from Southwestern State College with a masters degree in Elementary Education. Dorothy taught elementary school in Altus, OK and finished her teaching career in Anadarko, OK.
Dorothy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Anadarko, where she taught Sunday school and prepared many meals for the church and community food bank. She donated her time and energy to be a faithful servant of the Lord.
She loved to golf, sew and her favorite passion was cooking for family and friends.
Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Dorothy's spirit, and the memories of her, will continue to guide and inspire us.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, the love of her life, Ray Tahsuda and her four children, Rusty, Max, Deborah, and Jean. She was blessed with thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. She provided a wonderful and loving home filled with lots of fun and laughter.
