Dorothy Jeanette Corcorran, 90, of Hobart, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on November 25th, 2021 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born on October 16th, 1931 to Ben and Dorothy (Henderson) Marlett at Saddle Mountain in Sedan, Oklahoma. Jeanette met the love of her life, Leland Russell Corcorran they were united in marriage on September 23, 1955 in Shamrock, Texas. To this union were born four children: Kevin, Annette, Kelley and Angela. Jeanette moved back to Hobart in 1970, she and her husband Leland owned and operated Leland's Appliance and T.V. Jeanette was a successful business woman on her own with on The Square B & B, Flair Fabrics & Quilting and Co-owned with daughter Kelley, Kelley's Cup of Tea. Through many years in business she and her husband were able to travel and visit several countries around the world. Jeanette was a life-long member of the First Baptist Church of Hobart, Oklahoma. She loved her Lord, Savior and Creator. She was a member of the DAR, she enjoyed painting and bird watching. She was a lover of music and the arts, and a life long student of astronomy. She loved her family dearly, and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
