Dorothy Jackeline Burton, 72, of Anadarko, OK, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2014, at the Physicians Hospital, Anadarko, OK. She was born February 17, 1942 in Lawton, OK to Richard and Lou Daniels (Domebo) Hummingbird. Dorothy was united in marriage to Gerald Burton December 30, 1991, in Wichita Falls, TX.
She and her husband were short term missionary's to Australia. She was a loving wife, aunt, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Dorothy was a member of Grace Christian Fellowship and also a member of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald Burton, of the home

three grandchildren, Ralph Lauren Pewo, Russell Lee Smith and David James Smith
one great grandson, Nocona Pewo

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Richard Andrew Lee, brothers, Joseph Hummingbird, Harold Hummingbird, Burke Hummingbird, Andy Hummingbird and Jackson Hummingbird, three sisters, Cecilia Hummingbird, Sophie Hummingbird and Barbara Jean Hyde.
