Dorothea Vernice Miller, 55, of Anadarko, went home to be with the Lord, on Sunday, November 3, 2013, at the Hospice Quality Care in Midwest City, Oklahoma, after a brief illness.
Dorothea was born September 27, 1958, in Cyril, Oklahoma, to Robert and Gladys Moore. She was a graduate of Anadarko High School with the class of 1976. While she had varied work life, she settled to her true calling and graduated from Redlands Community College in El Reno, Oklahoma with an Associates Degree in Nursing.
She was united in marriage to David Farrow and to this union two sons were born. On September 22, 2007, she was united in marriage to the true love of her life, Steve Miller, in Big Bear Lake, California.
Dorothea truly enjoyed being a nurse and caring for people. She cherished all the moments with her family, friends and classmates and especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Steve, of the home; two sons David Farrow and wife Katherine of Duncan, Oklahoma and Donovan Farrow and wife Rebecca of Mustang, Oklahoma; a step-daughter Laura Miller of Warrington, UK; seven grandchildren; her parents, Robert and Gladys Moore of Anadarko; three brothers Jim Moore and wife Gaye, Rick Moore and wife Cindy, and David Moore and wife Jaime all of Anadarko; numerous aunts, uncles nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
