Donnie Jay Squires

Donnie Jay Squires, 78, of Hobart, Oklahoma, passed away unexpectedly on March 21, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born on September 4, 1946, to Everett Earl and Mable (Gore) Squires in Clinton, Oklahoma. He attended and graduated from Taloga High School in 1965. Donnie met the love of his life, Connie Hestand, they were united in marriage on May 25, 1971, in Marietta. Donnie grew up doing custom wheat harvesting, farming, ranching, and owning multiple businesses, which included being a bail bondsman for the last 25 years. Of all the job titles he ever held, his favorite was being called Grandpa Donnie. Donnie was a member of the Lenora Methodist Church. He enjoyed being with his children and grandchildren. Donnie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
