Donnie Allen Smith

Allen Smith, 71, of Hobart, Oklahoma went to be with the Lord on April 8th, 2020 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born on March 11th, 1949 to Donnie Clarence and Ruby Lou (McDowell) Smith in Frederick, Oklahoma. Allen grew up and attended school in Davidson, Oklahoma, graduating from Davidson High School in 1967. He married his one and only of fifty-one years Calene Axtell on November 18, 1968 in Hobart, Oklahoma to this union was born three children: Chad, Mandy and Sonya. Allen was saved and baptized in 1984, he was a member of the First Baptist Church. Allen owned and operated Allen Smith Roofing Company in Hobart, Oklahoma for over forty years. He also volunteered for the Hobart Fire Department for twenty years. Allen was a member of the Hobart Riding Club and also served as Vice President. He was avid with his Belgium Horses, he loved to hunt and fish. Allen enjoyed vacationing in Lake City Colorado with his family. He was considered a Family Man, he loved his family more than anything and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
