Donna Julanne Hernandez was born October 8, 1946, in Anadarko, Oklahoma, to Jack L. and Katherine (Frank) Proctor. She was called home on September 15, 2013.
As a child, Donna lived in Fresno, California and graduated from Roosevelt High School. She returned to Oklahoma in 1976 and made her home.
She was a proud member of Caddo Nation and was a cook for their A.O.A. She was also a cook for the Delaware Nation A.O.A. and worked as a waitress and cook at the Family Diner in Gracemont, Oklahoma.
Donna's greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. She loved to cook and was always in competition with her macaroni salad. She was full of personality and humor and always enjoyed a good joke and liked to pull them on people as well. Donna loved sports and always enjoyed watching her grandchildren play them. She was always ready to go shopping and loved second-hand stores. She was always on the lookout for new piece of jewelry. Donna love to play pool and had excellent taste in music.
She was prededed in by her father, Jack L. Proctor, one sister Paula Proctor and her beloved son Sonny Hernandez.
Survivors include two daughters, Gina Sage and husband Michael and LaDonna Hernandez and companion Gary Parker; six grandchildren, Sonnie Allen and husband Casey, Mason Keechi and wife Brittany, Storm Sechrist, Seth Sechrist, Alex Sage, and Kelsey McCarty; one great grandson, Greyson Allen, all of Gracemont; her mother, Katherine Frank Proctor, two sisters, Jackie Proctor Velarde and husband, John and Kathy Proctor Allen; one brother Bill Proctor all of Fresno, California; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM, Friday, September 20, 2013, at the Square Top Baptist Church NW of Anadarko.
