Donna June Carr, 79. Of Anadarko, was born April 28, 1934, to Marion and Myrtle Irene (Winn) Wilson. She passed from this life on Thursday, April 17, 2014, in Chickasha.
Donna met and fell in love with a G.I. from Moulton, Iowa, stationed at Fort Sill, John Henry Carr. They were married on August 8, 1951. After his discharge in 1955, he and Donna made their home in Anadarko. She worked for Sequoyah and Hollytex carpet mills in Anadarko. Donna was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church. She loved to cook and spend time with her family.
Preceding her in death were her parents and her husband, John Carr.
Survivors include one son, Justin Carr and his wife, Donna (Yeahpau) Carr of Anadarko; one grandson, Shawn Carr and his wife of Pensacola, Florida; one great grandchild, Lillie Carr of Pensacola; other relatives and friends.
