Donald Gwen Pewo was born on July 31,1948 to Wilson and Ethel (Eikeahpihoodle) Pewo. He passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023 in Anadarko, OK at the age of 74.
Donald was a proud enrolled member of the Comanche Nation of Oklahoma and also of Kiowa and Apache descent. He was the last living grandson of Kiowa Charlie. Donald married the love of his life, Karen Louise Ahhaitty on July 31, 1986.
He was preceded in death by his: Parents, Wilson & Ethel Pewo; Sisters, Gloriette Pewo, Ravina Pewo, Roberta Toehay, Madeline Soontay, and Glenda Mendez; Brothers, Calvin Pewo, Vernon Pewo Sr, Milton Pewo Sr, and Dennis Pewo: grandson, Navin James Pewo.
