Donald W Kerbo

Donald W. Kerbo, of El Reno, Oklahoma, passed away December 19th, 2017, at his and his brother's home in Mangum, Oklahoma at the age of 87. He was born September 11th, 1930, in Mangum, Oklahoma to John W. and Ruth (Williams) Kerbo.

Donald was a master carpenter, starting out in cabinet making, progressing towards complete remodeling. He spent many years working a successful endeavor of buying homes in Oregon, completely restoring and remodeling, and then reselling them. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1950-1954, working at different bases including Japan, London, and more locally Pennsylvania and Florida.

Donald never had children of his own but was known to be a devoted husband, spending 25 years with his first wife, Dorothy, until her passing in 1989, and over 15 years with his second wife, Veda until her passing in 2011. He was a long time member of the Baptist Church, with membership in the First Baptist Church of El Reno, and later, New Hope Baptist.

Donald is survived by his brother, Willis Kerbo and wife Carol of Mangum, Oklahoma

He was preceded in death by his parents,
two brothers, Bobby Joe and Harold
and two sisters, Jean and Johnnye Ruth

Graveside services are to be held Friday, December 22, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Rose Lawn Cemetery in Mangum, Oklahoma, with Pastor Darrell Coffman officiating.

Arrangements are under the care of Ray and Martha's Funeral Home, Mangum, Oklahoma
