Donald Earl Dupoint ( Dey-Ole-Tahlee) passed away January 5, 2017 at the age of 75 years at the Carnegie Tri County Municipal Hospital. He was born June 10, 1941 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Joseph and Georgia Botone Dupoint.
Donald graduated from Carnegie High School and then attended Oklahoma State Tech in Okmulgee and became a baker. He was a member of the Cedar Creek United Methodist Church and the Kiowa Chapter of the Native American Church.
Donald married Rena Wahnee in April of 1963 in Lawton, Oklahoma.
Survivors include his wife Rena of the home, one son James (Jimbo) Torralba of Midland Texas.

Granddaughters: Tavia Torralba, Carnegie, Ok
Kiowa Lynn, Chelsea Joy, Anadarko, Oklahoma
Grandsons: Joseph Donald, Carnegie, Oklahoma
Robert Tain, Anadarko, Oklahoma
Seven great grandchildren and numerous adopted children and grandchildren.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Georgia Dupoint, Son Joseph Earl Dupoint, his grandparents, Herbert (Topoie) Dupoint, and Cecelia Maude (Hainta/mah), sisters: Marilyn Darlene Dupoint, Hazel Celia Dupoint, Sheila Ann Dupoint, and Christina Sue Dupoint.
Funeral service for Donald will be Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 11:00 at Cedar Creek United Methodist Church, Carnegie, Oklahoma.
Wake Service will be Monday, January 9, 2017 at 7:00 PM at Ray and Martha's Funeral Home Chapel, Carnegie, Oklahoma.
