Harriett Stockton, 95, life-long Hobart resident, passed away on Saturday, October 16th, 2010 in
the Hobart Living Center. She was born December 30, 1914, in Hobart to Stephen and Esther (Stout) Lee.
Harriett graduated from Hobart High School and Southwestern State College in Weatherford.
She taught in the Big Elk one room school, taught and coached in Sentinel schools for several years and in Hobart for one year. Harriett married Gilbert Cecil Stockton on June 10, 1941 in Hobart and he preceded her in death on January 18, 1984. Harriett was a case worker for the Department of Human Services until her retirement on December 30, 1984. She was a life-time Elder in the First Christian Church. Harriett enjoyed attending sports and school activities of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Don Stockton, Blair, OK
Gary Stockton and wife, Letitia, Hobart, OK
six grandchildren: Tamara Hetherington and husband Marc, Tara Pruitt, Marissa Walker,
Steve Stockton and wife Karrie, Chad and Dustin Stockton
and ten great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, "Gib", son, Stephen,
two granddaughters: Stephanie and Angela, brother, Stephen Lee,
and three sisters: Sarah Martin, Millie Ann Lee and Ruth Lee.
