Desiree Dawn (Shaull) Miller, 48, was born October 8, 1964, in Anadarko to Ronald Keith and Billie Sue (Pittman) Shaull. She passed from this life on Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at the Comanche Memorial Hospital in Lawton
Desiree was raised and attended school in Anadarko and graduated in the Class of 1982. She then received a Bachelor of Science Degree from U.S.A.O. in Chickasha with she majored in elementary teaching, early childhood development and minored in photography. Desiree married Charles (Charley) Miller on March 16, 1991in the First Baptist Church in Anadarko. She taught school mostly in Anadarko from 1990 untill taking a leave of absence in 2011 due to health issues. Desiree took medical retirement in August on 2012.
Some of Desiree's favorite things were photography, shopping, music, movies, reading collecting Barbie Dolls and Diet Coke form Sonic. But most of all, Desiree had a great passion for teaching children.
Preceding her in death was her father, Ronald Shaull and her sister Penny Trollinger.
Survivors include her husband, Charley of the home; one son, Jeremy and his wife, Rachel of Anadarko; two daughters, Kayte Miller of Fort Cobb and Kimberly Miller; her mother, Billie Shaull; one brother, Keith Shaull and his wife, Kathy all of Anadarko; brother-in-law, Keith Trollinger of Yukon; sister-in-law, Glada Prater and her husband, Jerry; three nephews, Evan Shaull, Jonathan Stewart and his wife, Emily and Ben Palesano and his wife, Rachel; three nieces, Beth Shaull, Shyanne Stewart and Sarah Cope; five great nieces and nephews, Hunter, Ian, Josh, Zane and Emily.
The funeral will be at 11 A.M., Monday, December 3, 2012, at the First Baptist Church with pastors Randy Cocheran and Mike Allred officiating. Burial will follow in the Memory Lane Cemetery under the direction of the Steverson Funeral Home.
