Delra Marjean Collins Toohey, 85, passed away January 19, 2021 in Anadarko, OK. She was born February 6, 1935 in Gracemont, OK to William "Bill" Collins and Margaret Collins.
She was raised in the Gracemont area and graduated from the Gracemont Public Schools. Also, attended Fort Sill Military School and Riverside School.
Delra was a full blood Wichita and was proud and loved her people. She was a Tribal member, elected secretary, enrollment officer and shared her history with pride and has many friends.
She loved sports, looking forward to NFL football, Major League baseball, NBA basketball. She sponsored several national championships Indian Fastpitch teams. Oklahoma 49ers, WCD Bad Company, Anadarko Tribes, and many others. She supported little league sports, softball, baseball, football, soccer and basketball. Delra enjoyed helping domestic women abused, homeless. She worked with alcohol abuse in the 70's, opening a halfway house in Anadarko.
Delra farmed, raised cattle, horses, pigs, chickens and donated to families in need. She promoted Indian business and self-determination.
Delra is survived by: Sons: William Toohey, Noble, OK and David Thompson, Gracemont, OK
Daughter: Gloria Torralba, Fort Cobb, OK
Six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren
Brother: Harvey Collins, Gracemont, OK
One nephew and five nieces

She is loved by numerous relatives and friends
