Delores Velma Treadaway

Delores Velma Stowers Treadaway passed away on October 3, 2024, in Hobart, OK. She was born March 13, 1930, to Aubrey & Vera Wheeler, in Dill City, OK. She graduated from Dill City school in 1948. After graduation she went to the Elk City community where she took her nurses training and began working. She lived in the nurses home and there she met her husband, K.B. Stowers. They got married on March 12, 1950. After they married they moved to Retrop and started their family, welcoming 3 children, Gene, Shirley, and Jerry. In 1969, they moved to Sentinel. Delores grew up in the baptist church and was saved at the age 13 at Dill City First Baptist Church. Delores loved the life her and K.B. had built, raising their children, K.B. passed away on December 10, 1986. Delores went to work at the nursing home and worked as a CMA for 13 years. In 1997, she married Louis Treadaway. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
