DeLois Best

DeLois Best passed away on August 8, 2024, in Corn, OK. She was born on April 9, 1928, to Dee and Alice (Ashlock) Hopkins, in Alex, OK. She attended school in Apache and Cooperton graduating from high school in 1946. She met and married her husband of more than 50 years, Floyd Best. Together they moved to Oklahoma City and raised their son, Michael. After their retirement, they moved to Choctaw. DeLois worked for doctors in Kiowa, Caddo and Oklahoma counties. DeLois never met a stranger. She was the kind of person who made everyone feel at ease with her genuine smile. DeLois was incredibly considerate and giving. She loved spending time with her family. DeLois loved God, family and shopping. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
