Delia Kay Red

Kay Red, 66, of Edmond, OK passed away Thursday, January 19th, 2012. She was born February 23, 1945 to Logan and Winona (Grubb) Pritchard in Carnegie, OK. She grew up in Mountain View, OK and graduated from Mountain View High School in 1963. In her teens she accepted the Lord as her savior and was baptised at the United Methodist Church in Mountain View, OK. Kay went back to school in 1990 at Redlands Community College and received her Associates degree in Arts and in Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse at Deaconess Hospital in Oklahoma City, until she retired in 2006. She also worked at Mountain View Elementary School as a secretary. Kay was a member of Henderson Hills Baptist Church, Edmond, OK.

Survivors include:
one daughter, Lori L. Ademiluyi and husband, Lawrence, Yukon, OK
one son, Dennis Red and wife, Lisa, Edmond, OK
seven grandchildren, Shane Tilley, Michael Ademiluyi, Whitney Meeks, Quinton Meeks, Janet Ademiluyi, Jaiden Ademiluyi, Abe Red
four great-grandchildren, Nichole and Corey Tilley, Eli Meeks, Sophia Venegas
mother, Winona Combest, Cordell, OK
one sister, Connie Zimmerman and husband, Nickey, Mountain View, OK

She was preceded in death by her father.

Services: 2:00p.m., Saturday, January 21, 2012 at the First Baptist Church, Mountain View, OK
Burial will follow at the Mountain View Cemetery, Mountain View, OK
