Deborah Ann Starr

Deborah Ann Starr of Oklahoma City passed away on November 21st, 2022. Deborah was born in Lawton on September 26th, 1949 to Richard Buffington Horse Sr. and Nell Rose Smith. Deborah met the love of her life, Rudolph Silas Starr Sr. and they were together for 48 years. She was a devoted homemaker and raised four beautiful children. Deborah was the last living sister of the Horse family. She was a member of the Kiowa tribe and was also a member of the Angie Smith Church.

Deborah is survived by: Daughters: Mary Elizabeth Iacobucci of OKC and spouse Robert Iacobucci; and Andrea Dawn Starr and spouse Donald (Chebon) Mayfield Grandchildren: Patrick Starr, Michael Starr, Martin Mayfield, Cora Mayfield, Larry Mayfield Jr., Rudy Starr, Deanna Starr, Keagan Starr, Kyla Starr, Christin Starr, Christopher Starr Jr., Serenity Starr, Casey Botone, Hocheni (Bubba) Botone, Rossi Harjo Jr., Ali'Ana (Lollie) Calvillo, Rafael (Rafa) Calvillo 18 great-grand children and 2 great-great grandchildren Brothers: Richard Buffington Horse Jr. and spouse Alva of Cushing, OK; And other family members on her Horse and Topaum side. Deborah had a large extended family as well. Two daughter-in-laws Jacqueline Tenequer of OKC, Shanda Marie Starr of OKC And a loving friend/sister: Donna Starnes

Preceded in death by: Parents: Richard Buffington Horse Sr. and Nell Rose Smith Husband: Rudolph Silas Starr Sr. Sons: Rudolph Silas Starr Jr and Christopher Michael Starr Brothers: Dewey Horse and Dennis Horse. Deborah was a good wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. She will truly be missed.
