Dawson Berry

Dawson C. Berry, 81, of Mountain View, Oklahoma passed away peacefully with family by his side on May 1, 2019 at the Corn Heritage Village in Weatherford, Oklahoma. He was born on September 22, 1937 to John Harold and Emma (Troub) Berry in Sedan, Oklahoma. Dawson grew up and attended school in Sedan and graduated from Sedan High School as Valedictorian in 1956. He met and married Louise McClain at the Church of Christ in Mountain View, Oklahoma, to this union was born three children; Shelia, Chris and Brian. Dawson worked in Maintenance for the pipeline known as Kinder Morgan for twenty-eight years. He loved to read, watch old westerns on t.v., and OU football, but most of all he loved his family. Dawson was a member of the Church of Christ in Mountain View and also served as an Elder and Accountant. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents: John Harold and Emma Berry, 4 Brothers: Kenneth Berry, Duane Berry, Bobby Berry and James Berry, and 1 Sister: Maxine Williams
