David Dean Wiles, 50, was born November 13, 1963, to Edgar Cecil and Loretta Mae (Elms) Wiles in Anadarko. He passed from this life peacefully in his home in Anadarko on Tuesday, December 31, 2013.
David was born, raised and attended school in Anadarko. He graduated from Anadarko High School with the Class of 1982. David and Debbie Strickland were married on August 20, 1982. He worked with his father in the plumbing business until 1987. David then went to work for Oklahoma Natural Gas. He was promoted to manager and was transferred to Frederick where he worked until taking a medical retirement in 2010. David went to school at Murray State College where he learned gunsmithing.
David was a member of the National Rifle Association, Ducks Unlimited and the Oddfellows. His hobbies included anything to do with guns, hunting and fishing.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Cecil and Myrtle Wiles and Melvin and Ruby Elms; parents, Edgar and Loretta Wiles; an aunt Shirley Olinger, great uncle and aunt, Marion and Vivian Beets.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie of Anadarko; one son, Cody Wiles and Apryll Schmidt of Kiefer; one daughter, Jessica Wiles and Nick Langilotti of Sapulpa; one sister CeCe Igo and her husband, Jimmy of Indiahoma; other uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2 P.M., Monday, January 6, 2013, at the Anadarko First Assembly of God. Online condolences may be left for the family at
