David Warfield Prickett
Graveside Services for David Warfield Prickett were held at 11:00AM on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Memory Lane Cemetery, with grandsons, Derek Wilkerson and Bryce Prickett, officiating.
Dave was born on February 14, 1925, in Anadarko, Oklahoma, to T.C. & Dorothy Prickett and passed away May 10, 2017 at his home.
He married Lois Ann Holtz on May 17, 1958. He and Lois were married 7 days short of 59 years. They made their home in Anadarko where he farmed and worked for Anadarko Public School until retirement. They raised two sons and one daughter. Dave loved farming, tinkering and sports, especially OSU basketball. But his greatest joy was his six grandsons and one granddaughter. He rarely missed an opportunity traveling all over Oklahoma to watch the grandchildren play sports, as well as participate in school events and plays.
Dave was preceded in death by his mother and father; brothers, Theodore, Talbert, Richard, Ivan, Jack, and sisters, Margaret, Virginia, and Dorothy.
Survivors include his wife, Lois of the home. His children David Prickett and wife Listena of Granite, OK, daughter Linda Wilkerson and husband Skip of Anadarko, OK, and Terry Prickett and wife Donna of Chickasha, OK. Seven grandchildren: Brandon Folsom and wife Donnie, Justin Wilkerson, Cody Prickett and wife Summer, Derek Wilkerson and fiancé Danielle, Bryce Prickett and wife Abby, Levi Prickett and MaKenna Prickett. Five great grandchildren: Blaikyn Wilkerson, Brody and Baker Folsom, Noah and Blake Prickett. One brother Tom Prickett of Arizona and one sister Rosemary Couch of Wichita
