Darrell Wayne Arnold

March 23, 1966 — January 17, 2022

Darrell Arnold 55, of Oklahoma City received his heavenly wings Monday January 17, 2022, and passed away peacefully in his sleep. Darrell was born March 23, 1966, in Lawton, OK to Clayton and Diane (Miller) Arnold.

Darrell attended Anadarko Public Schools, Riverside Indian School and graduated from Binger High School in 1984. During his time in school Darrell played basketball and ran Cross Country. He attended Haskell in Lawrence, Kansas before enlisting in the Air Force in 1987. Darrell did his basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas and stationed at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi and Tinker Air Force Base, Midwest City, Oklahoma.

He was a member of the Caddo Nation and a descended of the Wichita and Affiliated Tribes. Darrell was an altar boy at the Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Binger, OK. During summers Darrell was employed at Indian City USA in Anadarko as a fancy dancer, hoop dancer and participated in the Eagle dance. Darrell made his own regalia and did his own beadwork. He enjoyed playing pool, listening to music driving his T-top Trans Ams, spending time with his friends and family.

Brothers: Vincent (Boss) Arnold, Anadarko, OK and Charles Arnold, Binger, OK
Nieces: Diane Pewo, Paula Pewo, Sunshine Rodriquez, Daysha Roulain, Rebecca Arnold, Tamika Ataddlety and Kristen Palmer all of Anadarko, OK; Kateri Arnold of Oklahoma City, OK
Nephews: Michael (Charlie) Rodriquez of Moore, OK; Thomas Arnold Jr. of Miami, FL; Anthony Arnold of Oklahoma City, OK ; Christopher Beaver of Lawton, OK
Granddaughters: Tayra Ward, Daydense Roulain, Dezyre Morris and Jazmynn Morris
Grandsons: Leondre Head, Desmond Head, Xzavier Cozad, Xzavin Yeahquo, Josh Morris, Tayvious Toahty and Isaac Holder
Aunt: Charlene Wright of Binger, OK
Cousins: Donna Miller and David Miller both of Durant, OK
Special friends: Bobby Joe Gonzalez, Luann (Smith) Whiteshirt and Nikki Scott
Numerous close relatives and many friends.

Darrell is preceded in death by his: parents, Clayton and Diane (Miller) Arnold; brothers, Clayton Freeman (Chicky) Arnold lll and Thomas L. Arnold; sister, Judith (Judy) Roulain; niece, Aurora (Cookie) Rodriquez; grandson, Punkie Ahhaitty Jr; granddaughter, Aurora Ahhaitty
