Darlene Joy Mcrae

December 14, 1941 — May 8, 2012

Darlene McRae, 70, of Carnegie OK, passed away Tuesday, May 8th, 2012 at her residence in Carnegie, OK. She was born four north and 3 miles east of Carnegie in a home her father built on December 14th, 1941 to Marion Lee and Inez Lothel (Anderson) Scott. She attended all her school years at Carnegie and graduated from high school in 1959, as a Co-Salutatorian of her class. Darlene was very active in many activities at school. She was always willing to do whatever she could to help out with her family and friends. Darlene was a member of the First Baptist Church. She was active in the church until her job or her illness prevented her from attending, altho she continued to send food to the ill or the unfortunate as long as her health permitted her too.

Burial will follow at the Carnegie Cemetery
under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Carnegie, OK
