Daniel James Williams Sr. peacefully passed away on January 5, 2025 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born in Talihina, Oklahoma to Ralph Cameron Williams and Neoma Lee Baker. He was a direct descendant of "Lone Wolf the Elder" (Gui-pah-gah, 'Alone Among The Wolves') a principal chief of the Kiowa tribe, and "Ahpeahtone" (Que-tah-tsay, 'Kills With A Lance') the last traditional chief of the Kiowa Tribe. As well as other Kiowa leaders and warriors. He graduated from Chilocco Indian School and later received a diploma from Western Nebraska Technical College. After graduating Daniel later became a CDL truck driver. He loved what he did for a living and was very passionate about it, he traveled all over the country, making many friends along the way. He equally loved his red semi truck, Boomer, he filled the cab with his favorite snacks and candy and watched films or Sooner games on his breaks. He was an avid concert go'er, and attended many live concerts throughout his life, celebrating with his friends and family often. Daniel was a kind soul, always lending a helping hand to his friends in need. Everyone that knew him loved him. Daniel will be deeply missed by those who knew him and loved him.
