Daniel Keith Moore

August 10, 1989 — April 19, 2018

Daniel Keith Moore went home to be with the Lord on April 19, 2018, at the age of 28 years and 8 months. He was born on August 10, 1989, in Lawton, Oklahoma, at Comanche Memorial Hospital at 8:00 pm, exactly 22 minutes before his twin brother Nathaniel.
Daniel was a very special young man and truly the light of his family's lives. He was born sixth out of seven siblings to the Moore family. He attended school at Anadarko Public Schools from the time he was three-years-old until he graduated in May 2011 when his twin brother Nate, in naval uniform, proudly walked him across the stage.
Daniel attended Gospel Lighthouse Church in Anadarko with his parents and his older sister and her family. He enjoyed community outings to stores and to restaurants. He enjoyed family trips as well, some in Oklahoma and others out of state. Two summers ago he visited his twin brother in New York and had his picture taken beside Niagara Falls. Last summer he and many of his family, including four nieces and a nephew, visited extended family in Georgia where he had his picture taken outside the Little White House of President Franklin Roosevelt fame.
During his lifetime he fought the good fight over his physical health problems, always with a determined look in his eye and a funny grin. He loved reading and collecting books, watching Disney movies and certain cartoons, and drawing and coloring with his nieces and nephews. But most of all, Daniel loved collecting his ropes, as everyone who really knew him will attest.
Daniel is survived by his father and mother Jim and Gaye Moore of the home. He is also survived by his sister Jaime Moore of Anadarko and her companion Tim; brother Bobby Moore, wife Brandi Moore and nephews Karson and Karder of OKC; sister Elise Moore Schuster, husband Allen Schuster and nieces Hope and Brittany of Anadarko; sister Jessica Moore Bailey and husband Aaron Bailey of Elgin; brother Bryant Moore, wife Juanita Ahtone Moore and nieces Alexis and Elora and nephews Hadrian and Caius of OKC; twin brother Nathaniel Moore, wife Aimee Moore and nephew Gabriel of Illinois. Surviving extended family include grandparents Robert and Gladys Moore of Anadarko; uncle Rick and aunt Cindy Moore of Anadarko; uncle David and aunt Jaime Moore of Anadarko; aunt Judy Anglley Catlin and uncle Gerald Catlin of Fletcher; uncle Keith and aunt Nadine Anglley of Sterling; uncle Tedd and aunt Kelly Anglley of Elgin; uncle Forte Anglley of Arlington, Texas; as well as many great aunts and great uncles, cousins and their children of Oklahoma, Georgia, and Florida.
Daniel was a true gift from God. He touched the lives of so many during the course of his twenty-eight years. He will be in his family's and friends' hearts forever. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. He will be loved and remembered by his family always-always. To a life well-lived, Daniel Keith Moore.
