Dan Austin Corbin was born December 25, 1950, in Sentinel, Oklahoma to Dana and Maxine (Buford) Corbin. He passed away January 22, 2022, at his home in Sentinel at the age of 71.
Dan attended school at Port until its closing his freshman year, he then attended Sentinel High School graduating with the Class of 1969. Hard work and dedication was instilled in dad at a young age, and I don't think anybody that knew our dad could say he half way did anything. Dad didn't always agree or tell us the things we wanted to hear, but everything he did or said was done with pure love.
Dad was a hard worker, perfectionist in most things, trick of all trades, man of God, amazing friend and the best Daddy and Papaw. You could always bet that dad was up for a theatre run or trip to Western Sizzlin. The man didn't need much as long as, he had his family. His children, grandchildren and extended family meant the world to him.

We all have endless memories with our dad and papaw. Everything from trips in the cow truck, to fishing, to just a simple conversation, spur of the moment road trips and the many stories we cant talk about in church, that would make you laugh until you cried. We will hold these close and dear until we are reunited with him again. What a wonderful reunion that will be.
