Dale Edward Kautz

January 4, 1942 — May 23, 2017

Dale Edward Kautz was born January 4, 1942 in Stillwater, OK to Le Roy and Ruth Mildred Kautz, and went to his eternal reward May 23, 2017 at the Corn Heritage Village in Corn, OK at the age of 75 years, 4 months and 19 days.
At an early age, Dale's parents moved to Nicoma Park, OK. Dale completed his public schooling at Choctaw, OK, graduating from high school in 1960. He served his country in the National Guard from roughly 1965 to 1976. In 1973, he was united in marriage to Elaine Hinds in Oklahoma City, OK. To this union, one son was born. He and Elaine moved to Cordell, OK in 1974 at which time, Dale became employed by Billy Young Construction. After some time, he went to work for Harlan, his father-in-law, taking care of the family farm and cattle. Dale continued this career as long as his health permitted.
Dale was a member of the NRA. He was also a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Cordell. He greatly enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws, Ruby & Harlan Hinds; and brother, James "Jim" Kautz.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine of the home; son, Damon Kautz & wife, Crystal of Cordell; daughter, Traci and family; brother, Harvey & wife, Vicki of Oklahoma City and their family; brother-in-law, Greg Hinds & wife, Kim of Mustang, OK and their children, Nikki, Jayme & husband, Jeremy and Matt & wife, Amy; 7 grandchildren, Jadyn, Makenzie, Merritt, Macey, Madison, Matthew and Maddox; many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 12:00pm-8:00pm, Thursday, May 25th and 9:00am-8:00pm, Friday, May 26th. A graveside service to honor Dale will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Lawnview Cemetery in Cordell, under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home.
