Dale Dirickson

Dale Dirickson, 76, Mountain View, OK passed away Saturday, September 6, 2014 in Lawton, OK. He was born January 14, 1938 in Yukon, OK to Murry Cecil and Myrtle Samantha (Platt) Dirickson. Dale attended high school at Verden and married Linda Mears, June l7, 1960 in Anadarko, OK. He worked for 30 years as a lineman for Caddo Electric, living in Anadarko 15 years and moving to Mountain View, 1974. Dale loved to play and sing with country and western bands all over southwest Oklahoma. A second love of his was playing dominoes. He had served on the Mountain View, OK City Council and later served as Mayor of Mountain View. Dale was an EMT for the Mountain View Ambulance for several years and had been a member of the Mountain View Volunteer Fire Department. He and Linda served as senior class parents l989 and l993.

7 grandchildren: Ravin, Crystal, Billie Jo, Blade, Kazmuir, Dalton and Bryce
6 great-grandchildren

Funeral Service: 11:00a.m., Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at the First Baptist Church, Mountain View, OK
Burial will follow at the Mountain View Cemetery
under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Mountain View, OK
