Cyrus John Topaum

Cyrus Topaum, Jr., 74 of Carnegie, OK passed away Wednesday, July 13th, 2011 at Kindred Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born to Cyrus and Mattie (Tee) Topaum, August 10th, 1936 in Carnegie, OK.
Cyrus graduated from Anadarko High School and also attended Chilocco Indian School. He was a member of the Native American Church and a former Pentecostal Preacher. He was a descendent of Tanedooah and I-C-O families. Cyrus loved to paint and to make jewelry.

He is survived by three sons:

John Topaum, Houston, TX
two daughters:
Marie Topaum, Albuquerque, NM
Mattie Topaum, Albuquerque, NM
numerous grandchildren
one brother:
John Albert Topaum, Portland, OR
three sisters:
Oleta Beed, Carnegie,OK
Anita Iacobucci, Oklahoma City, OK
Patricia Gum, Arlington, TX

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Ruben Topaum, Rudolph Topaum and Joseph Topaum.
