Craven Wilford McLemore

Craven "Wilford" McLemore, 89, passed away on Sunday, March 23rd, 2025, at his residence. Wilford was born to Crave and Delphia (Williams) McLemore on July 27, 1935, in Gracemont, Oklahoma. He attended school in Gracemont, Oklahoma. Wilford was united in marriage to Betty Jo Hendrix on December 12, 1953, in Gracemont, OK. Wilford and Betty moved to Hobbs, New Mexico. He worked in the oilfield. They moved back to Oklahoma in the early 1960's. Wilford started a bulldozing service. He was elected as Caddo County Commissioner in 1978. Wilford spent many years farming and ranching in Caddo County. He and Betty enjoyed competing in the Senior Pro Rodeo. Later in his life he enjoyed following his grandchildren and great grandchildren to various sporting events. Wilford was such a good christian man who never met a stranger. He met many friends throughout his life, which he loved dearly. His life on earth has ended, but his eternal life has just begun.

Wilford is preceded in death by his wife, parents, son: Randy McLemore, 3 sisters: Amy Kalista, Ruby Stevens and Bootsie Jones, 2 brothers: Jake McLemore and Manuel McLemore

Brock McLemore and wife Amy, Binger, OK

Tanner Allen and wife Tara, Cyril, OK

Taylor Allen and fiancé Nick Leonard, Gracemont, OK

Kayli Allen and companion Keaton Kelly, Oklahoma, OK

Cassidy McLemore and wife Kayla, Perkins, OK

Family will be present at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00pm to receive friends and family.
