Corrine Lavern Tsoodle

Corrine L. Tsoodle passed from this life on February 4, 2023 at her home in Cushing, OK. She is survived by her two sons, Andrew Tsoodle, of the home, and Allen Tsoodle, Cushing, OK. and one grandson, Riley Mitchell Tsoodle. She is also survived by one sister, Yvonne Tiger Goodeagle, of Cushing, OK. Corinne was an Aunt, Grandma, sister and friend to many more.
Corrine was the youngest of 6, born November 10, 1939 at Pawnee Indian Hospital, to Florence Gonger Tiger and Elba Tiger. She was raised in Schlegel, oK on Tiger Hill. Her early education was in Schlegel and Yale, OK. She graduated from and furthered her education in Chilloco Indian School in Chilloco, OK. After there, she went to Haskell University in Lawrence, KS.
While at Haskell she met her future husband, Mitchell Tsoodle. She made many lifelong friends there, and talked about her time there often. She married Mitchell in 1965 and had their first son Andrew in 1966. Allen came in 1970. Raised her family in Cushing, OK living on Tiger Hill..
Corrine went to school to become dental hygienist and worked with Dr. Archer in Cushing, OK for many years. Later she worked in Pawnee Indian hospital as a dental assistant. Later she left dentistry and started working in Tribal govt. She became the JOM coordinator of the Sac and Fox Nation. She enjoyed this time greatly. Working with kids and educating them was what she really enjoyed doing. She retired from there in 2005. She then began her pursuit in writing and artistry. She loved doing crafts and writing and was an accomplished seamstress.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Florence and Elba, brothers Herschel, Lloyd, and Jack Tiger.

Tsoodle. She is survived by her two sons, Andrew Tsoodle, Cushing, OK., Allen and Mindy Tsoodle, grandson Riley Mitchell Tsoodle, granddaughters, Alicia Chaino, Cushing, OK., and Amber Chavez, Cushing, OK. She has many nieces and nephews, granddaughters and grandsons, and great-grandkids.
