Mattie Colleen (Mead) Vance passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2020 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Colleen was born January 3, 1928 to C.E."Pete" and Florence Alberta (King), Mead in Carnegie, Oklahoma.

Colleen attended Carnegie Public Schools and graduated with the Class of 1946. She attended Carnegie Jr. College, in Carnegie, OK.

Colleen married Loyd Vance on May 9, 1948 in Carnegie, OK. To this union two children were born, Larry & Carol.

Colleen worked as a Dental Assistant for many years, she was a member of First Baptist Church and worked as a nursery attendant for many years.

Survivors: One son, Larry, and his wife Jo Beth, Carnegie, OK
One daughter, Carol, and her husband David Walker, Guthrie, OK
Four Grandsons: Thomas Walker, Edmond, OK
Jeremy Walker & wife, Kelly, Edmond, OK
Dylan Walker, Edmond, OK
Sandy Hoover & wife Jenny, Harleton, TX
Four Great Grandchildren: Oliver Walker, Chloee Hoover, Olivia Hoover , Asa
Hoover and Braylee Walker
Sister: Claudene Thomson & husband John, Muskogee, OK
Sister In Law: Berniece Mead, Tustin, Calif.

Preceded in death: Parents, Husband, 1 Grandson, Justin Hoover, Two Brothers,
Jackie, and Ron.
