Clifton Wayne Hines, 31, of Taloga, Oklahoma passed away Friday, June 30th, 2016. He was born October 28th, 1984 to David Wayne Hines and Audrey (Conatser) Hines. He graduated in 2004 from Mountain View-Gotebo High School. During high school, Clifton was competitive in football and weightlifting. Clifton attended college at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Ok. He married Lyndsay Desiree King on June 4th, 2005 in Gotebo, Oklahoma. While married, Clifton and Lyndsay lived in Chickasha, Mountain View, and Taloga with their two children, Evan, 10, and Makayla, 7. Clifton worked as a lineman for four years for a small, local contracting company. Clifton then coached high school and junior high baseball for one year at Taloga Schools. Clifton was an avid OSU fan. He enjoyed being involved in any kind of sporting event, and especially loved working with kids. Clifton could often be found outdoors on his four wheeler or hunting. He loved his family, friends, and God. Clifton was a member of Gotebo First Baptist Church.
Survivors include wife Lyndsay of the home; one son Evan Hines; one daughter Makayla Hines, both of the home; parents David and Audrey Hines of Gotebo, OK; two sisters Andrea Reeves and husband Mitchell of Hydro, OK, Ashley Frye and husband Jimmy of Hobart, OK; three nephews Dason and Easton Reeves, and Dodge Frye; grandmother Peggy Hines of Garden City, Kansas; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather Donnie Hines, and grandmother and grandfather Elzie and Mattie Conatser.
